We report the crystal structure of (phenyldiazenido-N) [phenylhydrazido (2-) - N] [3 - (trimethylsilyl) - 2 - pyridinethiolato-S,N]bis(triphenylphosphine-P)rhenium tetraphenylborate, [Re(C6H5N2)(C6H6N 2)(C8H12NSSi)-(C18H 15P)2](C24H20B), prepared by the reaction of [ReCl(C6H6N2)2(C18H 15P)2] with 3-(trimethylsilyl)-2-pyridinethiol in ethanol. The mixed diazenide/hydrazido(2-) complex represents a relatively rare class of complex.
